Restoring Behavior
Configure how shared carts are added to existing carts.
Options
Replace
Completely replaces current cart with shared cart items.
Merge
Adds shared items to current cart. For duplicate items, uses shared cart quantity.
Add Missing
Only adds items not already in the cart. Keeps existing quantities unchanged.
Ask Customer
Shows a dialog asking customer to choose their preferred method.
Configuration
- Go to Apps > Share Cart > Settings
- Find Restoring Behavior section
- Select your option
- Click Save
Edge Cases
- Out of stock items: Skipped with notification
- Unavailable products: Skipped with notification
- Quantity limits: Reduced to maximum allowed
