Choose the share dialog type shown to customers.

Options​

HTML Dialog (Default)​

Custom-styled dialog that matches your store design.

  • Fully customizable
  • Shows all sharing options
  • Works on all browsers

Native Dialog​

Uses browser's built-in Web Share API.

  • System-native appearance
  • Limited to mobile browsers
  • No customization

Automatically chooses:

  • Mobile devices: Native dialog
  • Desktop: HTML dialog

Configuration​

  1. Go to Apps > Share Cart > Settings
  2. Find Dialog Type section
  3. Select your option
  4. Click Save

Notes​

  • HTML dialog can be styled via CSS
  • Native dialog requires HTTPS and modern browsers
  • Optimal provides best experience across all devices
